Frontera Technology Ventures (“FTV”) is a Houston-based investment and advisory firm focused on growth stage technology companies. FTV’s parent company was founded in 1991 and has worked with and held ownership positions in companies of varying size in numerous industries over that period. However, Fonterra has invested in partnerships and joint ventures, which have helped it expand into new regions including South and North America and South Africa. These include partnering with Nestlé, Dairy Farmers of America, Clover Industries Ltd and Friesland Campina. Fonterra Ventures, led by general manager Komal Mistry, will ‘constantly look for new ways to meet the needs of future consumers and customers’.
